Michael Krome

Managing Director

Michael founded GeoSolutions Australia in 2007, specialising in whole of business spatial information solutions. Michael is a qualified surveyor with 16 years experience in Australasia and the United Kingdom spatial industries.  Over the past 4 years Michael has been involved with the Queensland Spatial Sciences Institute (SSI) Young Professionals and Regional committees and the Australia Spatial Information Business Association (ASIBA) Queensland Regional committee.  Michael has attained the GIS Professional - Asia Pacific (GISP-AP) certification through the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute.

Matt Fossey

Senior Spatial Consultant

Matt Fossey joined GeoSolutions Australia in 2008 as Senior Spatial Consultant, with 13 years experience working in the spatial industry, including local government and consulting positions within private enterprise. He is a specialist in project management, spatial system integration, data translation/manipulation and GIS analysis, performing specialist roles throughout his career including technician, trainer, project manager, consultant, analyst and strategic planner. Matt has attained the GIS Professional - Asia Pacific (GISP-AP) certification through the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute.

Garry Burton

Senior Spatial Consultant

Garry joined us in mid 2008 with a wealth of knowledge in survey, geodesy management, photogrammetry and airborne laser scanning (ALS) technologies experience.  Garry has over 41 years experience in the spatial information industry with the Department of Main Roads – Queensland, in various roles including  managing the provision of aerial photography, photogrammetry, airborne laser scanning and digital imagery for major infrastructure projects.

Greg Lauer

Senior Spatial Consultant

Greg is a senior consultant with over 15 years experience working with spatial technologies, with a focus on GPS and GIS integration. He has provided project implementation and management services for leading spatial technology companies including Trimble Navigation and Leica Geosystems. He has undertaken consulting activities worldwide, including such diverse
places as East Timor, Sri Lanka and Jamaica. Greg is currently completing a Master of Business Administration, majoring in Entrenuership at the Queensland University of Technology.
